NEWS: Lotus Type 49

Scalextric are set to release yet another classic F1, the Lotus Type 49 1967 driven by Graham Hill at French Grand Prix on the Le Mans-Bugatti circuit. A completely stunning slot car which is bound to be very popular with classic and non classic collectors/drivers alike.

A little history from Scalextric: 'Going into the 1967 French Grand Prix on the Le Mans-Bugatti circuit, Graham Hill was looking to capitalise on his pole position from qualifying along side the cars of Jack Brabham and Dan Gurney.

Alas, after 14 laps of the shorter Le Mans circuit Hill retired the car with crown wheel and pinion failure.'
