GALLERY: Porsche 934

Fly Porsche 934
Trans-Am Champion 1976

The ManicSlot Mini Review

Strengths:

  • The Porsche 934 GT1 is a relatively popular slot (as all Porsche slots seem to be) but has little collectible status
  • Average 'from the box' performance, like most Fly slots it requires some TLC
  • Very High level of detail, (including under chassis and exhaust detail)
  • Excellent paint and decal job
  • Average non-magnetic performer with a little weight

Weaknesses:

  • Fly rear rubber compound is hard to 'true' well
  • FTB performance could be better, can be improved with after-market parts especially rear rubber and an improved guide

Verdict:

A very interesting slot as the motor is located behind the rear axle, unfortunately this doesn't help chassis weight distribution. Regardless, once tires are trued and the slot is well run in, the 934 makes for an enjoyable slot car from Fly.
