Scalextric are onto a great thing with their 'Super resistant' slot car range. If you have small children who are keen to race slot cars like me, then I'm probably not telling you anything you don't already know. Even if you don't have the kids, these slots make for a great afternoon of care free slotting (maybe with a few coldies?) and in the end no one will be crying over 'remodelled' slots!
What I find impressive about the Scalextric 'Super resistant' range is that gone are the days of the 'chunky' Audi TT and Porsche Boxter. Scalextric are really releasing some fantastic models, slots I wish they would release in their standard range with higher levels of detail, etc. Cars like the Lamborghini Gallardo GT and now the Nissan GT-R.
