Peugeot 908 HDI FAP in LEGO anyone?
As a boy I loved nothing more than spending hours and hours playing with my slot car track but something I almost loved as much was Technical Lego. My son is turning nine this year and it's no real surprise that he also loves Lego. Like slot cars, Lego is one of the few toys that has successfully spanned generations.
So what happens when you combine a love of Motorsport and Lego, I'll let you be the judge.
This infrared RC Lego 908 weighs 1.73kgs, is powered by 4 motors, is fully remote controlled, has fully independent suspension and can reach speeds in excess of 15 km/h.
The clever guy who put this model together (over several months) refers to himself as 'Seriel'. His real name is Paul, he's 30 and from Warsaw, Poland. A link to Seriel's website where he has detailed a stack more Lego models can be found below the Peugeot 908 movie.
Below is a pretty cool movie Seriel put together of his model in action.
