Racer Slot Cars have sent through some impressive photos of the soon (end of June) to be released RCR66 Ferrari 512S driven by J. Juncadella and J. Fernandez at Le Mans in 1970.
The car was run by the Spanish team 'Escuderia Montjuich' and started 24th on the grid. While the car was a DNF due to transmission damage after a spin, it did completed 130 laps of the famous circuit. It will come as no huge surprise that the 1970 race was dominated and won by Porsche with their 917K.
From Racer, 'This model shows details such as different nose and sides when compared to previous RCR63A and B raced at Sebring. The RCR66 will be available by the end of June'
As always Racer has produced a model that is easy on the eye, the Spanish team came up with a striking livery and it looks really good as a slot in my opinion. Yet another example of a beautiful slot car from Racer, something we have long come to expect.
