1/24 and 1/32, Pre Production CAD models

Scaleauto have released some great looking pre production CAD models of their upcoming Viper SRT GTS-R.  I love the way some of the big manufactures are letting us see what's involved in the production of a slot car.  The great news is that the Viper will be available in both 1/24 and 1/32 scales.

I think you'll agree, the CAD drawing give enough of an indication that this is going to be one mean looking slot!

From Scaleauto: 'Scaleauto's forthcoming SRT Viper GTS-R has reached pre-production and we are actually working hard to release the first moulding samples for the 1/24 version.

The SRT Viper will be released both in 1/24 and 1/32 with a MWB RT3 chassis for the later one and the successful and reliable SC-8000 R2 chassis for the 1/24 model. A number of technical challenges has driven the Scaleauto engineering team to develop a complex and sophisticated methodology to achieve an awesome quality both in detail and fidelity for this aggressive yet beautiful body.

Scaleauto is working hard to release the first model soon.'

NEWS: Scaleauto 1/24 BMW M3 GT2

SC-7022, 1/24 'Team Schnitzer', 24h Nürburgring 2010 Winner

Pere from Scaleauto have sent through some impressive photos of their recently released 1/24 BMW M3 GT2.  Scaleauto seem to be going from strength to strength in both the 1/32 and 1/24 slot car racing world.  The latest 1/24 Scaleauto to hit the shelves was raced (and won) the Nürburgring 24 hour endurance event in 2010.

The release has the ever popular 'BMW M' livery and you have to admit those yellow front lights look as awesome as they are aggressive!  I don't own one of these beautiful 1/24 slots but if they are anything like their 1/32 offering, then they are well worth a closer look.  

This from Scaleauto: 'Scaleauto is proud to announce that the new 1/24 model in the BMW M3 GT2 series has recently reached the market and is now available in all slot racing shops.

This new member of the BMW M3 GT2 features the NEW frontside improvements previously announced in May 2013 and this is the first model sporting this refined parts. The mentioned improvements bring a simplified inner piece and a more adequate thickness for the front lips.
