NEWS: Scaleauto Spyker C8 Pre Production Phase

Scaleauto have shared some updated photos of the upcoming Spyker C8 GT2R Spyder release which is scheduled for 2013.  Progress is coming along very nicely and you can really get a feel for how the finished product is going to look.

We know that Scaleauto produce a highly detailed slot car so I'm looking forward to seeing how the Spyker develops over the coming months.  I had a quick look at potential racing liveries, one of the obvious candidates is the silver/orange liveries raced in the 24 hours of Le Mans in 2006.  The Spyker C8 also competed in the FIA GT Championship.

This from Scaleauto: 'There is still a lot to be done until the real product reaches the streets but we could not wait anymore to show our pre-production injected prototypes of the amazing SPYKER C8 GT2R series.

It was not long ago that we announced the end of our CAD development process and here we have the first test prototypes so we wanted to offer our followers a sneak peak about what is to come soon!

NEWS: Scaleauto Jaguar RSR GT2

Scaleauto Jaguar RSR XKR GT2
1/24 Le Mans 2010, 'Team Jaguar' 

Scaleauto have released a new livery for their 1/24 Jaguar XKR GT2.  I've always loved Jags (pretty much like everyone I guess) but the XKR is a very impressive looking motorcar (even as a street car).  Scaleauto have done a great job in terms of capturing the shape of the big jag and just look at that rear wing.  The only thing I would like to see Scaleauto improve on their Jag would be the wheels, especially the rear rim which doesn't really capture the 1:1 equivalent   

This from Scaleauto: 'The ALL NEW Scaleauto Jaguar XKR GT2 LM 2010 #81 (Team Jaguar RSR) will reach availability in this first half of Semptember 2013. This Scaleauto 1/24 model (SC-7023) adds to the successful and already sold out Jaguar XKR former models released in 2011 and 2012.'

NEWS: Scaleauto BMW MI

Scaleauto BMW MI Gr. 5
SC 6039 - Team Seelex, 500km Fuji 1982

Scaleauto have recently released some very nice photos of their new 'Team Seelex' BMW M1.  The paint scheme is striking, particularly with the gold/silver wheel detail and I find predominately white liveries very easy to follow on the track during racing.  The model stance looks very nice and low (low centre of gravity) indicating strong potential for great cornering.  Detail levels are impressive and you have to love those huge wheel arches and front spoiler!
