Racer has just released a very limited edition (203 only) of the Scuderia Filipinetti, Targa Florio '67 Ferrari 412P racing number 220. Owning a Racer 412P (my only Racer I should add) I can honestly say that the 412P is hands-down an amazing slot car!

Racer have just announced the released of the famous and stunning Ford P68. The first two liveries will be RCR51A raced at Nurburgring 1000km in 1968 and RCR51B raced at Oulton Park also in 1968.
The number 31 Ford P68 (Alan Manning Racing) was driven by R. Attwood during the RAC TT Oulton Park in 1968. Detail levels are absolutely stunning which is what we have come to expect from the master model builders at Racer.
The profile lines of the P68 are some of the most beautiful that have ever been produced. I remember having a matchbox P68 as a child and loving the flowing lines the car has especially over the wheels.
The number 7 Ford P68 (also Alan Manning Racing) was driven by R. Attwood and F. Gardner at the 1968 Nurburgring 1000km enduro.

Racer have just released a variation of their ever popular Porsche 935 K3, the Porsche 935 Joest. The variations from the K3 are not immediately obvious without studying the two cars side by side. The most obvious variation between the models is the rear wing and more angular rear profile.
There are also slight changes to the front spoiler, namely the lower lights and intakes, side intake vents are also different on the Joest and bonnet detail is varied from the K3.
The cars look striking as a pair although that would represent somewhat of a significant investment. Detail levels look truly excellent, (as we would expect from Racer) and the racing liveries are impressive too. The cars ran in the World Sports Car Prototype DRM, ('Deutsche Rennsport Meisterschaft ') series in 1980. The number 6 car was driven by Rolf Stommelen and the number 7 car by Volkert Merl.

These photos in from Racer of the just released Alfa Romeo T33/3, enjoy.
Car number 6 (RCR47B) is the Alfa Romeo T33/3 that won the Buenos Aires 200 miles during 1970. It was driven by A.deAdamich and P.Courage.
Car number 4 (RCR47A) is the Alfa Romeo T33/3 that raced in the Buenos Aires 1000kms during 1970. It was driven by N.Galli/R.Stommelen.
As you would expect from Racer, the detail levels and paint finish on these new Alfas looks just amazing. Unfortunately I only have the pleasure of owning a single Racer but you certainly can tell a Racer when you see it. A slot car almost too beautiful to drive, almost. Front grill and intake detail look stunning, you have to love the Alfa Romeo heart and logo on the front grill.

Racer RCR40 Porsche 935 K3
Racer has just released a new livery of the ever popular Porsche 935 K3. The car ran at Le Mans in 1980 and was driven by John Fitzpatrick (GB), Brian Redman (GB) and Dick Barbour (USA). Paul Newman was also listed as a driver for the car but never actually drove the car.
The car finished an impressive 5th overall, (21 laps behind the winning car) and won the ISMA class.
