Strengths:

• Impressive paint and decal levels
• Excellent engineering
• Powerful motor/quality gearing
• Rear alloy wheels
• Rubber aerial
• Adjustable pivoting motor pod
• Impressive 'from the box' performance
• Very high level of detail,
• Excellent non-magnetic performer

Weaknesses:

• Magnetic downforce too high (as tested on Carrera track)
• Wheel inserts do not sit flush with wheel

Verdict:

The McLaren has always been a very popular slot car ever since Ninco blessed us with the short tail version. The Slot.it cars are destined to be even more popular and are very strong slot car on the track in both magnetic and non magnetic setup. The McLaren represent great collectible value.
