The ManicSlot Mini Review
Strengths:
- The 911 GT1 is a popular slot that has a limited collectible status
- Excellent 'from the box' non-magnetic performer
- Alloy wheels, (even comes with its own Allen key)
- Separate adjustable motor pod
- Light weight driver tray, racing glide and gearing
- High level of detail
- Excellent paint and decal job, the 'Stealth Bomber' matt black Martini livery looks great
- Very quiet and smooth
Weaknesses:
- The gearing on my model was a bit too tight and had to be 'worn' in carefully
- Rear rubber compound still behind the likes of NSR and Slot.it so benefits from an upgrade
Verdict:
This is a fantastic looking slot to the eye and impressive in non magnetic racing form. The Racing Evo 3 is a fun and enjoyable slot to drive, VERY quite and smooth! Performance wise not up there with the top Slot.it cars, around the performance levels of the original Audi R8C Slot.it release on my track, (Carrera plastic).
